looking for a certain rose

Hope you can help me find a supplier. I am trying to find a hardy white rose with the word “Star” in the name to plant in honor of Star, my white Siberian Husky, that passed away. On the web I have found 3 names: Canadian White Star rose, Polar Star rose, and Northern Star rose. But I can’t find a supplier. I live in Olympia, Washington and could have one shipped in the appropriate season. I just can’t locate a supplier or nursery that sells any of these 3 roses.

Here are some other suggestions for you too:

Star Dust – miniature rose – Check with Green Heart Farms. They have several of Ralph Moores roses.

Canadian White Star is said to be available through Hortico Inc. You might need to email them and see if they have it or can get it in to ship to you.

Evening Star is a wonderful rose. She is said to be available from Roses Unlimited at this link: http://www.rosesunlimitedownroot.com/ [1]

Polar Star – said to be available from Hortico and Heirloom Roses.

Also try contacting the nice lady at Burlington Rose Nursery and ask her about white roses with Star in the name. She has many roses that just flat are not available anywhere else anymore. Here is a link to her very modest site: http://burlingtonroses.com/ [2]

Starry Night is another awesome white rose but is a shrub rose. Loves to load up with flat open faced blooms.

Hopefully this listing will help you. Also very sorry to hear of your loss of Star…..
