Q.Lobelia Cardinal Can I Put Them In The Garden Pond?

I live up in Cumbria West facing garden with a small pond 3m x 3m

I wouldn't put them in the pond, since the water level would likely go well over them. On the outside of the pond would be better. They can tolerate being at the edge of water.
