Want to plant along side of house flowering plants that will survive the high heat and sun in clay mixed soil. Does Bluestar work for that area?

This is a pretty hardy plant and is drought tolerant, so may do well there. Just to help it out a bit, I would recommend working in a bit of peat moss into the soil before planting or even just laying the peat moss on top of the soil after planting. This will make the soil a little less harsh and will improve its ability to hold a little more water.
