Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI read it takes 3 or 4, maybe more, for guava trees to flower. I got mine, strawberry guava, 4 yrs ago in the mail. Since I live in northeastern WA, I leave it in a pot all year, redo soil each year, bring in off deck in Sept or Oct, depending on night temps. I do trim it back in fall- wondering if trimming I’m cutting off wood it needs to bloom on. It looks beautiful, leaves green, putting out new growth, but no blossoms or fruit. Last year I put some liquid fertilizer for blooms in soil but still have none. Suggestions? It’s about 2 1/2 ft tall in 12″ pot.
