Liquid Amber Burned

The garage burned down and the 2 liquid ambers between the garage and house tool heat and the bark is burned about 30 to 40 percent; one up to 30 feet. How can I treat it? I have removed burned limbs and plan on spikes and water with more compost. Any other ideas?
