Q.Limit Of Cover Of Foliage For Potatoes In Bags

I am wanting to grow potatoes in sacks and I read that the foliage must be covered as it grows. Should all the foliage be covered completely each time or must some leaves be left visible at all times? Thank you Victor

No, you are just adding a layer of soil at the root zone each time. It's OK if some of the foliage is covered, but always leave the tops of the leaves showing. These articles will help:
