Lime trees

With my lime tree I have started to notice some black stems on the ends, and am wondering what the problem is (i.e. too much/not enough water, cold mornings, etc.). Twice yearly I use a slow release citrus fertilizer, and every 4 weeks, approx, give a feed of seasol or equivalent. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like it may have a tip blight. There are a few, but they can all be treated with a fungicide. It may also simply be cold damage. If you have had some chilly nights, than this can kill off tender, young growth but will leave more mature growth undamaged.
