lime trees

I have a year old lime tree and the leaves are turning yellow. We have had a lot of rain recently. I fertilized it with tree and shrub spikes. What can I do to green up the leaves?

Yellow leaves are more often than not a sign of overwatering. In this case, it’s most likely due to the rain. Feel the soil around your plant to see if it is too wet. The tree should right itself once the rain moves on and the soil dries. There’s little you can do about Mother Nature but wait it out and be sure the soil dries before resuming your regular watering regimine.
