Lime Tree Potted

I have had a potted lime tree on my balcony this summer and know I will need to move it inside before it gets too cold. At what temperatures should I be concerned and how should I care for it over the winter indoors before returning it to the balcony in the spring?

Lime trees can not tolerate temperatures much under 50 degrees F. Therefore, bring it inside prior to temps dropping below this. Caring for the tree indoors isn’t any different than outside, other than not watering as much but do keep it watered (when dry to the touch), no fertilizer until spring. They enjoy indoor temperatures around 60 degrees F or above inside.
