Q.Lime Tree Not Flowering
I planted my lime tree with a lime attached 3 years ago. It gets plenty of sun, phosphorus and watering. I have not pruned it. It shows no blooms at all. The tree appears healthy, the leaves are green and not falling off. I am stumped about what to do.
Citrus trees sometimes need to be shocked into fruiting. The best way I know of sounds doubious but it really works. I owned a garden center in Florida and many people have this problem and many people came back to me amazed that it really worked. Wrap the trunk of the tree with a blanket and wack it a couple of times with a baseball bat. It isn't any good to you if it never fruits and so you might as well try it. I sure hope it helps you.
