Lime Tree Leaves Are Curling

Hello, I recently planted my lime tree over 3 months ago and my leaves curled about 1 month ago. I fear that the water isn’t draining well because I only water once or twice a week and use a moisture measure. Please help me with some great advice. I do live in northern California.
