Lime Tree Is Dying

We live in southwest Florida — planted lime tree 2 years ago. Had a couple of limes last year. Now, leaves are curling and deformed, no blossoms, leaves have dark spots — sort of look as if they have been chewed — but no a whole lot. Have been spraying with stuff lawn-guy suggested — active ingredient is neem oil. Spraying a couple of times a week. Seems like no change. Help!!

Typically, citrus leaf curl is caused by aphids. The neem oil should help, but you may want to consider using natural predators as well, like lacewings or ladybugs. Also, if you see ants around the tree, it is best to treat them as well. They like to “farm” aphids and could be helping them survive.
