Q.lime tree

Anonymous added on August 6, 2015 | Answered

I have 2 lime trees kept in the greenhouse. Both have plenty of flowers. One of the trees has got a few limes but the other one keeps dropping all the flowers and has red/green bugs on. I am worried about losing it. My greenhouse is heated during winter. Is it advisable to wash the tree with plain water? If not, what kind of spray can I use? I am looking forward to your advice.

Yes, you can hose down the tree with water to knock off the pests. You may also want to treat the tree with neem oil, which is safe and effective in treating many pest problems. Here is more information: https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/problems/pests/neem-oil-uses.htm
