Q.Lilac Shrub

Anonymous added on May 18, 2014 | Answered

This spring I bought 2 lilac shrubs, white and lilac. The white shrub has produced flowers but hardly any leaves whilst the lilac has produced both flowers and leaves. They are planted at opposite sides of the garden. The only explanation is that I could have over watered the white one, but not to excess. Any advice on how to rectify the problem?

I suspect that the white one has a lack of potassium. I would give it a balanced fertilizer and some potash for potassium. This should help.
