Q.Life Expectancy Of A Scotch Broom?

How long does the average Scotch broom live? I’ve had mine for prob 8-10 years and it’s been gorgeous every summer. This year it came in green but then went completely brown and dry. Is there any way to save her?

That is a pretty average for Scotch Broom! You are lucky to get that long out of it, and they die back in clumps. Usually, they get replaced by seedlings of their own. They tend to be a bit invasive, though, and can get a bit dangerous once they dry out, so be careful with this, highly flammable, weed.
