Leyland Cypress trees,

I’ve been told that if the limbs are broking on the trees this will kill the trees. Is this so?

I had a few big oaks on my property that were dead. They were most likely over 100 years old.

When one of them fell it fell into the Leyland’s and broke some of the limbs and now I’m being told that these too will be dieing.. Please let me know if there’s a way to say them. Thank you so much.

More than likely, your tree will recover. Just remove anything that is dying off from the damage. In fact, here is an article that will help you in pruning the tree. Just be careful not to cut off Too much newer growth.
