Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have a sunken spot in my lawn around the water meter. The meter was replaced a couple of years ago, just before the sod was installed. Since then the fill around it has settled. When I mow the lawn, the blade scalps the grass on both sides of the depression. I have zoysia grass and I’ve been told that I can add a little sand now and then to the depression to help raise the low spot. Is this a good method or should I dig up the existing sod and level the spot and re-sod the area?
