Lettuce And Sun Exposure

Question

Am container garden in large Rubbermaid tubs. Would it be ok to plant lettuce behind cucumber vine or what amount of sun exposure is best? Am on the south coast of western Canada.

You should plant them in front of them so that they do not get shaded. Most lettuce will do best in full sun.
