Lemon tree from seed

We started a lemon tree from a seed. It’s about 8″ tall. Can I put it outside in the pool area?

Yes, you can do that if it’s warm outside. Although many lemon trees can tolerate brief periods of temperatures as low as 26 degrees Fahrenheit, I wouldn’t recommend that for a sapling. Introduce the tree gradually to outside conditions (a few hours of sun) each day and then bring it back indoors each night for a week. This helps to get the sapling used to being outside. You do this to avoid shocking the sapling and causing it to loose its leaves.
