Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comi have a lemon tree growing in a pot, it is doing very well i think, it is green, very healthy looking,, i have been told i need two for lemons to grow, and i have been told they are self pollinating, since i have had my tree going on third year, i am beginning to think i do need second tree for pollination. which is correct? how long will it take before i have lemons on my tree?

Lemon trees do not need cross-pollination in order to fruit. They need ample sunlight and warmth along with consistent care. Here is a link on what is needed for a lemon tree to fruit;

If your lemon tree is grown indoors then you will need to hand pollinate in order for it to fruit.
