Will overwatering cause leafs to yellow ? How often should a tree in a large barrel be watered ? 2xweek ?

Thank you for sending us your gardening question. Assuming that your barrel has sufficient drainage, you should water as soon as the soil dries out or is only slightly damp. That may work out to be twice a week, or more often. You can also purchase a moisture meter and use that to assess the moisture level of the soil.
