Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI live in Sacramento, CA. I planted 2, Campisis Radicans vines about 2 + months ago. I was advised not to plant in afternoon sun as the heat in this area is excessive at times. I planted where they receive about 6-7 hours of “morning sun”. Last week, we experienced a period of intense heat with temps over 103 for 7 days in a row. Because of the excessive heat, I have been watering daily. This week, I have noticed several leaves turning black and curling. I also noticed a couple of leaves with pin holes so I am guessing that I have and infestation but I can’t seem to locate the bug. Can you please advise me on what is causing the discolored leaves and what is eating the leaves? Thank you.

The yellowing leaves is an indication of the excess heat, most vines will rebound when temps cool.
If you see signs of pests, Neem Oil is a good treatment.
