Potted Gardenia Bush Turning Brown

I have a potted gardenia bush that I bring indoors during the winter (I live in Minnesota). I keep the gardenia in a room with two windows in the SW corner of my home. A few days ago, I noticed gardenia’s leaves turning brown and falling off. The soil is moist and I am careful not to over-water this plant. Is this an indication of a nutritional deficiency or a pest?

It is probably a humidity issue. Try misting the plant or setting it on a tray full of pebbles that has been filled with water.
