Leaves of hosta turning white

I received some starter hostas from a friend of mine. The ones in front of my house look great but the ones in the back aren’t looking the best. The ones in the back I received about 2 weeks after those in the front. I wasn’t able to get them planted as quickly as I wanted so they weren’t in the soil about 5 days. I planted them then have been watering daily. I’m wondering if I’m watering too much. One of my friends feels I may need to water more. Sun rises on the back of my house and sets on the front so they aren’t in the sun all day. I’ve attached pictures I took yesterday but today there is more white. Please help.

This looks to be sunburn or sun scald on the leaves.
I would suggest a more shady location for these darker green leafed Hosta.
