Q.Leaves Keep Falling Off My Lime and Lemon Tree

khalilrivers added on May 28, 2011 | Answered

How do I prevent my leaves from falling off my lime and lemon trees? They are both in a wine barrel. Plus, some of my other trees’ leaves are turning yellow. How do I prevent this from happening?

It sounds like they are underwatered. Trees in containers need far more water than ones in the ground. If they are outdoors, they normally need to be watered at least once a day, twice a day if the temps are above 85F.
