Leaves Falling Off of Lemon Tree

dora added on January 24, 2013 | Answered

A few months ago my mom got a dwarf lemon tree as an indoor container plant. All was going well; it was blooming and started to fruit. All of a sudden it started to shed its leaves and fruit. Now even though the branches are green and 2 limbs are still blooming. What do we do to ensure the health of the plant?

1. keep them evenly moist
2. keep them in high light
3. watch for pests
4. keep them out of drafts
5. don't forget to fertilize according to package directions
