Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comMy 2-year-old peach tree produced fruit this year. After all the peaches were picked, the leaves began falling off. Now the tree is naked. Is it dead? What should I do? I live in Pearl, Mississippi – the temperature has been in the 100s the past month.

Due to the high temperatures, I would have to lean towards heat or drought stress, especially since the tree just finsihed up fruiting, which already takes a lot of energy from it. This is a tree’s natural defense–dropping leaves and going into an early dormany. All you can really do is keep the tree well watered to provide some cooling relief and hydrate the roots.
