Amaryllis often need support for the flower stalk. I wouldn’t transplant it while it is in bloom. Do you have a decorative pot that the plant, pot and all, will fit into, preferably one that is tall and will serve as a brace for the stalk? You might also convert any 8″ tall box into a usable pot by covering it with holiday wrapping paper.
