Rust Fungus will not harm people or pets, but both can spread the fungus.
It’s a good idea to keep them off the infected areas of the lawn to help from spreading it.

Treatment is not needed, but making sure the lawn is healthy will help.

Rust Fungus will not kill a lawn.
