Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comThe previous owner of our house put down a large patch of seed covered with what looks like straw, held in place with plastic netting.
The grass is about a foot tall now but the netting is still visible and our landscaper is apparently afraid to cut the grass as the netting may get caught up in the mowers.
What should we do?

Netting is used in many applications and there are different types of netting.
Can you contact the previous owner to see if they used a compostable netting that will break down into the soil?
If the netting is of a plastic nature, you may have to remove it and reseed the area. Most plastic nettings are used in hill or high erosion areas.
