We would recommend using lawn fertilizer for your lawn and a fertilizer that is specific to use with your garden edibles.

Lawn fertilizer often contain selective herbicides which kill off weeds and broad leaves.
This could kill your garden plants.

Organic fertilizers are best to use on your vegetable garden.
Always use the packaging directions for application.
