Q.Lawn

Zone Newcastle, nsw | gin_013 added on April 8, 2016 | Answered

I recently bought and moved into a house in Newcastle. A month ago the lawn was fantastic thick and green. It appears to be dying off slowly and the soil underneath is disappearing. I have used a powder insecticide and watered it in but it hasn’t worked. There’s also small dirt piles in the lawn and birds. What can I do?

Do you know the type of turf that is planted?
Have you had dry or wet conditions?
Is there a reason you used an insecticide on the lawn, such as signs of insect damage?
