Lavender Seed Growing

I am currently trying to grow lavender by seed. I have a small pot, filled it with Miracle Grow soil, and then planted the seeds. I live in Arizona where it’s almost the tail end of spring. The weather today has been in the 90’s. I know lavender is supposed to be grown in the spring and likes the dryness. However, how often should I water the soil? The plant has yet to break soil ground and I wanted to know how long it should usually take? It has been planted for maybe one or two weeks, and nothing has sprouted.

Lavender can take up to 2 months to germinate. While you are waiting for it to germinate, I would keep the soil moist. While the plant likes dry soil, seeds need moisture to help germinate.
