Q.Late Lilak / Syringa Villosa

Zone V7R1W7 | BayanF added on May 24, 2018 | Answered

Hello,

I have searched high and low for answers regarding a tree I have in my yard. We are in the midst of moving and we absolutely need to replicate the smell and beauty of the Lilak we have in our old back yard.

I was hoping you could confirm that the tree is in fact a Late LIkak as we are hoping to have the exact same species at our new home.

We are located in Vancouver Canada (Pacific Northwest) and the tree has the most wonderful (and strong) smell.

Any help you may have would be much appreciated.

Thank you,
Bayan

Yes, I do believe that you are correct. You can, either, purchase a white variety, or you can take a cutting, and propagate an exact copy of this one.
