Q.Latana
Planted the Latana in a container and a couple of hours later it was very droopy so i gave it some water and it never perked up, I have never encountered this problem before, I grow them every year with no problem.

It sounds like the plant didn't take up water from it's roots.
Make sure the pot was adequately sized for the plant. Too large of a container can lead to overwatering.
Make sure the soil was a light commercial soil that is well draining.
Make sure the container has a drainage hole.
