Q.Last year’s lemons still on tree

Zone CF43 0NG | geoff53clement@live.co.uk added on March 30, 2016 | Answered

We have a house in Spain. When we were there in Oct last year, the tree had some lemons on it. We used what we wanted and left some on the tree when we left. Now we have come back and the lemons that were originally on the tree are still on the tree plus a lot more. They are very big and a lot of pith. Do I need to take this fruit off before new fruit grows? There are some flowers but not many.
