Pampas Grass
Q.

Last year I planted 6 pampas grass plants. I cut them back during the winter. They are not greening up.

We have other plant that are showing new life. I thought it odd that none of the 6 plants are showing any sign of life. Any idea what I am doing wrong.

Try to tug at the roots, do they loose in the ground?
If they roots have died, you can pull out clumps of the plant.

Peek down into the grass to see if you see any signs of life.

Give them more time; grasses can be the last to make an appearance in the spring.
