me I saw on the label that it says not to consume. Could you tell me ifI am able to eat it because I am finding this very confusin g and it means that either the net is giving info which could end in people being poisoned or it is just confusion.

It is strange that it would not give a reason why. I suspect that it has been treated with systemic pesticides, which are taken up into the plant. You will have to consult the nursery from which the plant came to ask them why they would have such a label on an edible plant.
