Hawthornes are susceptible to several diseases unless you have a resistant variety. They also attract several pests like scale, aphids, lace bugs, and mites. Did you check for insects? Scale can be hard to notice.

Are you fertilizing every other year? It may just be lacking some nutrients. Check your care against these care tips:
