Q.Lantana plants

Zone 53029 | Annsch27 added on August 19, 2017 | Answered

My mom has what almost looks like black berries growing on an infesting her lantana plant and can’t find an info on them. Any idea on what those might be and why?

This is the fruit of a Lantana. They are normal and are toxic, do not consume.
Most sterile varieties do not produce berries.

Fruit: Small black or blue-black, toxic berries. Most sterile hybrids do not produce berries.
