Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comWe are thinking of planting Lanana on the side of our house up against the stucco along the walkway on the other side. The area is 20 inches wide & gets about 8 hours of sun in summer. I was told Lantana roots can be very pervasive & wondered if this Is true would it be a problem. Also any other suggestions of plants for this area would be appreciated-preferably something with color. Thank you.

f you have a sunny location with well draining soil, Lantana would be a great choice.
Though Purple Lantana appears on the list of invasive plant species in CA, you can seek out a cultivator that is appropriate to your setting.

I would suggest a visit to your local garden centers to see if another perennial catches your eye.
