Q.Know What Is Growing On Pots?

ljadkins added on January 7, 2023 | Answered

I bought a pot set for both wandering Jew plants. Something is growing on both pots and not sure what it is. Anyone know what it is? What the issue is?

It is one of countless "slime molds". Likely, it isn't hurting anything. They eat bacteria that would, otherwise, cause infection to your plants and soil. They are an indication that your soil may remain just a little too moist, as their bacteria food is present.

Fungicides, and letting the soil dry out, thoroughly, will solve the issue.
