Knockout roses

I had 4 Medium size knockout roses and the last time I cut them back 3 of them died-will it be safe to replant knockout roses back in the same area?

I am not sure why they would die from being cut back but yes it would be okay to plant Knockout rose back in there. You might also want to take a look at the Homerun series of rosebushes.
