Knockout roses

My knockout roses initially bloom beautifully. But that is it. They do not have repeat blooms. The plants are very healthly and about 4 ft high and they get plenty of sunshine. In fact, they get total afternoon sun. What can I do to get them to bloom? I also fertilize with a rose fertilizer, several times.

Not all roses bloom throughout the summer. Check on the habit of your variety. Pruning may also help
