Q.Kiwi plant flows and does not give fruit

Hallow:
I have a pair of Kiwi plants, planed about 5 years ago about 3 feet apart. The label says one is male and the other is female. They are now quite big. For last 3 years I get a lot of flowers in one of the plants, may be not the other. Branches from both plants are tangled together. Every year the flowers drop off after leaving small(2-3 mm)buds. Then all these drop off in a week or so also. These buds looks like tiny fruits, raising my expectation. But do not get a single fruit. The plants get a lot of sun shine in the morning and early afternoon. Then from mid afternoon to evening they are under the house shade. I leave in northern New Jersey (Zip 07834). Every year in April-May I fertilize the plans. The plants are on a dry land next to my deck. Also gets water from the lawn sprinkler system.

What is wrong with my plants? What should I do to bear fruits?

Thank you.
