What kills wild onion & garlic the best ?

These are very prolific, but there are two things that I can rely on, completely, to kill off any pest plants. Vinegar, when sprayed directly on the plant, will kill it very fast. Boiling water, when poured on, will kill them without effecting the soil at all. This is the safest method, but either will work.
