killing pussy willows

My ex neighbor planted pussy willows and has taken over the swale in neighborhood. What can I use to eliminate them in the swale of my property?

If you are not opposed to chemicals, Round-up will kill them. Just be sure that the Round-up does not accidentally get on anything that you want to keep.

If you are not keen on chemicals, pouring boiling water on each plant, especially at the roots, will also help kill them.
