Gardening Know How Questions & Answers - https://questions.gardeningknowhow.comI have been clearing the bank in front of my house next to the road. After using an iron rake, I now have loads of entangled poison ivy roots. I cannot pull them up, so what can I use on just the roots?

If you’re looking to get rid of poison ivy, treat with herbicide first (to kill the roots) then, wearing gloves, hand pull dead plant material and dispose of it. Do not burn it, however, as the poison can be breathed in and will result in a nasty rash.
