Keeping Squirrels Away From Windows

Question

I don’t want to hurt the squirrels (there are 3 of them). All I want is to keep them from trying to get in my bedroom windows – and the others as well! I can’t really trap them as we live up north, and I’m sure not chopping my trees down! Is there anything I can put on my window sills to keep them from going there? Remember, I don’t want to hurt them.
