Jasmine shrub/small tree

Question

I am allergic to the perfume of this tree. How can I stop the flowers from being produced? We have about three of these in an enclosed courtyard type area.

You can try reading the article below and doing the things the article says not to do such as too much fertilizer, pruning at wrong time of year, etc. Besides that, the only real way of discouraging a jasmine shrub of flowering is by cutting it down.
